Our Ghanaian Language

What language do you speak? Where were you born? What is your mother tongue? Are you a parent or a relative? A guardian, caretaker?
Then please listen!
Ghana is our land and no one's. We inherit this land automatically. Why do belittle our culture. Have we forgotten that our culture our heritage? Why are we letting go of our own great resources?
Chinese speak their language. In ancient times and even today, before you can go and stay or study in some countries you would have to learn their language and this fetches them income because, it's the heritage and they are to keep it and guard it well.
Why do you make I look like any child who can speak English is a blockhead? Why do we make our children suffer what they know nothing about? The mother tongue is our L1 and it must be used effortlessly. The other language to be learnt is the L2 and that mist be taught at leisure times, school, etcetera.
Give way for our children to flow with their wonderful language! The Ghanaian Languages; Akan, Ga, Ewe, Dagare, Nzema, Hausa, and many more must be spoke and used by every society who owns it.
Let us remind ourselves that our language is all we've got. Throwing it away means we throwing ourselves in a trash can. Let us learn our language with enthusiasm. Let's flow smoothly in our language.
Note this: Our language is Rich! Our language is our Pride! Our language is our Wealth! Let us use it and guard it.
Thank you!
Becca.
