The God Of Multiplication
THE LAMP DEVOTION
When we think of God, we immediately think of His power. All the narratives that we read about God and His dealings with men, both in biblical and post-biblical times reveal to us that He does things big!
God thinks in multiplication terms. We know from our math lessons that beyond the number 2, any number multiplied by itself gives much more than when added. That is how God deals with us, particularly in blessing us.
See in this passage what happened to the feeble steps of lepers. They probably were just tiptoeing towards the camp of the Syrians. God multiplied the sound of their feeble footsteps into the sound of a mighty army. Can you think of what God will do with the little efforts you attempt at walking in His purpose for your life?
It is time to stop looking down on what you have as little that does not amount to anything. All God needs from you is putting that to good use and then He will bring the multiplication. The rest of the story will be there for all to see and give glory to God.
Prayer
1. Thank God for every endowment he has placed inside you.
2. Pray that you will not bury that talent but sow it in the right environment.
3. Father, as I sow my gift, I trust You to multiply it to the glory of Your name.
Declarations
I declare that nothing in my hands is little, for as long as God gave it to me. I put it to work, according to what God has promised. I shall reap several hundred folds of harvest. Elohim is the God of multiplication. He will multiply my efforts. I declare by divine authority that out of them will come great results in the name of Jesus!
